Our world is creative (POEMS)

POEM FOR MAMA (MANSIBANDE)

They told me of what you were in my life
Every time I cried you feed me
I grew like a king
Because you were setting up my life
You answered all enemies question,
Asking you, “what he’s going to be?”
“what he’s going to do at this age?”
“give him to the wealthy”
Your weakness was on your pocket
But you hands and you heart was worthy my life
You are such a versatile mama in my life
Able to play a wide variety of parts
The script of my life was written in your heart
And your mind followed it
What you see in me is the product of your patience
‘MANSIBANDE’
You broke through pain barrier at nine months,
And present me into life.

THE FREE GENERATION

The free generation from far
From far away with life
From the previous times of oppression
Where we were crying but hopping
Hopping that our nation will be free one day
That time the great Mzansi was singing
With drying tears
Yet wasn’t free.

Now we are free
Free to speak
Free to learn
We have opportunities
We are the free generation
But we are perishing
Like water into the ground

Last time we were dying because oppression
Other tribes acting against us
But now who is acting against us?
No-one we are perishing our self
Because we say “we are free”
Yes we are the free generation.

The poem is enthusiastic, I'm so fascinated about the style.
